Ranch and Hunting Retreats

The Ransom Ranch offers a combination of ranch and hunting retreats tailored to fit you and your group. We can accommodate small groups, singles, or couples seeking the serenity of the Nebraska Sandhills.

Our accommodations include a two bedroom bungalow which sleeps up to six people. This small cabin has modern conveniences and is equipped with a shower as well as a full kitchen.

Our ranch has a bit of history with an old school house on the hill (which we intend to restore) and two grave sites dating to 1915. 

Enjoy all your meals provided for you,  from hearty sausage and buscuits for breakfast to a thick, juicy, Angus steak for supper.  We can also taylor meals to your specifications or diet preferences.

We are a "one party booking" which means you have the whole house to yourselves. We don't mix you with other guests. Also all of our land is basically in one piece. You don't drive miles from the guest house to the pasture, you practically walk right out the door. You won't believe the Peace and Quiet!

We offer a variety of seasonal activities year round from grouse and prairie chicken hunting to dove and coyotes as well.  A few exclusive goose hunts are available near Oshkosh, Nebraska (Goose Hunting Capital).

We invite you to bring your horses, dogs, kids and whatever else you wish. Horses are boarded as part of the daily fee, and feed and hay is included. For our hunters, do not hesitate to bring your hunting dogs as well. Kennels are available on site.
