Our Mares

"Toni"

I CD Flower or "Toni" is an exceptionally well bred cutting mare. She has had 26 months professional cutting training and has a great work ethic.  She has some of the best cutting bloodlines in the world today. Her dam is Shorty's Lila (NCHA earnings of over $21,081),her grandsire on her dam's side is the famous Shorty Lena (offspring earnings of over $8.4 million), her sire is a MillionHeir Stallion.  Her grandsire on the sire side is the outstanding CD Olena (NCHA earnings of $170,716 and offspring earnings of over $4.5 million), and her granddam on the sire side is Snip's Cherie (offspring earnings of over $612,084) She is also double bred Doc O'Lena. Toni is a little stick of dynamite at 14 hands and according to our trainer, Jerry McMackin, she is "big time". Everything she does is big big big......We are planning on showing Toni this winter and continuing her promising show career with Jerry. We hope to breed her or flush her later on.  Thanks to Andy and Jayme Meier of Roberts, WI for the opportunity to own Toni. Toni has been HERDA tested and she is N/N. She will never throw offspring that carry the potential for HERDA disease.

Ryan Motes, of Weatherford, TX, son of Danny Motes, recently made it to the NFR finals on a CD O'Lena gelding. Not only that, but his backup horse out of a Shorty Lena mare. These horses are absolutely some of the greatest athletes around.

The Reserve Champion of the Augusta Futurity January 26, 2008 was CDS Starlight MS, a daughter of CD Olena out of Jessies Starlight MS by Doc O’Lena, owned by George and Karen Moore, Jr., Saint George, S.C., ridden by Allen Crouch, Noxapater, Miss. The pair scored a 219.5, taking home a $20,000 paycheck.
